It's been a hoot
« on: April 02, 2018, 05:42:49 AM »
Well guys, with a heavy heart, and in light of recent event's,i am leaving OU.com

I will not have my post's policed or removed simply because my belief's are different to some one else's--another case of religion suppressing all those that do not comply with there belief.

Not only was my post removed, but an entire thread, where another !colorful! worded person made post's.

You will also see that post's made by those who agree with the person that made the topic, are still there to read.

I must say,i am not only sadly disappointed, but also some what in shock--i thought you were better than that  :o. But once again, religion rears it's ugly head,to the point of total suppression toward the thoughts of others.

I had so much to give in the coming month's,but an end has been put to that.

You can also tell your Friend LXXXX that the deal is off--i no longer wish to participate in the venture.

To all my friends here-->thank you so much for all you have given and shared with me  ;),and i wish you all the best in your journey.

Erfinder--i know you are probably doing back flip's of joy by now,but regardless of how it has been between us--you are right with one thing-->be careful who you trust  ::),but also remember that true colors always shine through in the end. ;)

From now on,all my work will be carried out in the safety of OUR/FE,where religion/religious beliefs have no power of suppression--as it dose in open world forums such as this one.

There are some here that will ask--why do you despise religion so much ?
Well here are some examples-->,yes,i will have my say,and you will not !delete! my belief's as you did not so long ago--which is one classic example of religion suppressing  those that do not comply with your belief's.

1- Religion teaches that incest is OK
!GOD! created Adam and Eve.
They had children
The third generation  came from where  ::)

2- The book of Noah
!GOD! commits Armageddon on his own creation, where !GOD! decides to kill every man, woman, child, and animal that resides on land, because they were ALL bad-->except for those that reside in the safety of an arc--the size of which cannot even be built today, due to there being no way it would ever stay together.

3- Countless millions of lives lost in religious wars--> wars fought over who has the best imaginary friend. ::)

4- The largest group of child abusers also happens to be a religious group, where children were/are not safe in the houses of !GOD!.

5- Teaching/telling small children that if they do not follow a set of rules put forth by said religious group, when they die, they will burn in the fires of hell for all eternity-->what kind of sick deluded people would tell small children this?

These are but a few examples, the list go's on.

There simply are those that hold power they should never hold--and i will not be suppressed by such people in any way, shape or form.

I made the mistake of becoming friends with some--going against what others warned me about, and giving them the benefit of doubt--some that now think it is ok to abuse that friendship--some that think they will allow me to say only what they want me to say--some that believe that they will decide what i can and cannot post--what i can and cannot believe in--what i am and am not aloud to share--->a mistake i will not be making again.

Thanks Brad ,for all that you've shared.
Your points about religion are bang on, as far as I'm concerned people should keep their beliefs to themselves and only
share them with like minded , and not force it on anyone.
Good luck.

RE: the sheriff
I don't believe anyone reading this Thread feels there is any comparison between a person who builds and shares experiments at this forum

and persons who just read threads at this forum.

I also don't believe there is a person who Builds here and shares their work
that does not feel the need for a moderator to keep the project on track.

It is actually self evident...

nobody builds a house in the middle of a public street...
here that is sort of what is happening in a builders thread ,and yes it can get Dicey.
and too many of these threads have gotten derailed over the years by passers bye .

so Stefan started installing actual builders here with a history of sharing their work to moderate .

The idea that persons who disrupt a builders thread should feel entitled to that ability or tolerated
??
it boggles the mind .

some really enjoy watching and learning at these open source forums.
and Brad has been the source of many such learning and teaching moments here.

EDIT to add
as a part of Built in Checks and balances
there are PLENTY of unmoderated sections here to discuss these issues.
Although in these sections public conduct laws [Libel/Slander etc etc ] and Stefan's / House rules apply.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But we do have another problem here ,persons who read here and Take for their own personal gain the work of many to claim as their own For Profit.

IMO the worst kind of snake there is ,one for the theft ,and two for the stifling effect it has here.
who wants to share if people who steal can profit and take the invention away from the inventor??

CRAZY !!!!!!!

we need to fix this here as best we can IMO

we just need to figure how ?
------------------------------

and one other thing
Politics, religion and sports....

maybe there are forums for these things?

here it can be quite volatile .

another EDIT to add
Maybe I am off base?
maybe some members here want a section for this ??

-----------------------------------------
One thing is certain ,here we have the means to fix all of these things , the talent to make it happen and an open source administrator who will assist.

respectfully

When people are involved in discussion it is
inevitable that the conversation will wander.
That is what people do when talking amongst
themselves.  It is not a bad thing.  Often the
most brilliant inspirations of creativity and
insight arise from those wanderings.

Why do people become offended by or unwilling
to hear what others have to say?  Control.

Those who demand purity of discussion will not
find it - unless they themselves write a paper or
treatise where they are in complete control of
what is written.

We are all "builders" whether we know it or not.
That is how we're wired.  We delight in making
things or fixing things or in some cases, breaking
things.  We do tend to become wicked in our
intentions from time to time.  Ventilation is a
necessity for the maintenance of sanity.  When
done sparingly and cautiously that is...

TinMan is a great builder and fixer of things.
I'd much rather he stayed.  He's a good man.

While some of his beliefs seem alien to my own
I find them interesting and tolerable.  There is
a reason for such beliefs and it isn't malicious
or nefarious that he holds such beliefs.  It is
a necessary component of reaching our final
destination.  We experience and we learn and
we form opinions and we discuss and we modify
our opinions when needful.  Our stories are not
engraved in stone.  We adapt.

Unless we can't.  Or we don't want to.

Frankly, I agree with most of what TinMan believes.
His views on "religion" come from a place of Love
and Concern for his neighbor.  Sadly, there is much
in "religion" which is false and which is hateful.

Quote from: Erfinder
a person only has one color, you see it or you don't.

There is truth in that statement.  Some are
Chameleons however, and are able to change their
color in order to deceive.  It takes time to find and to
see their true color.

Hello All,

It's great to share our passions, ideas and moments, without fear of being criticized!!!

But we all live in Real World, we are very limited in resources, money and time,
so we need to find a better way to self sustin our self?

Why, It interesting to note that, its common the players method
Shaking the capacity of somebody's believing systems up to the point of brick down ? Is this what you ALL learned from nature? may to find a batter way?

Thank you all and Regards

1- Religion teaches that incest is OK
!GOD! created Adam and Eve.
They had children
The third generation  came from where

I am a believer in Christ. I believe the Bible for what it is. It does not tell you till the new testament that you need to ask for the Holy Spirit in order to be able to comprehend the bible. This is what I believe is why there are so many 'different opinions' as to how they interpret the Bible. And the many others I have met that have the same understandings of the Bible as I do, know what I said you need in order to have the common understanding.

When Adam and Eve were the only 2 humans of a brand new and pure genetic line, and the plan would be to populate the earth from these 2, then yes, the sons and daughters would need to marry to carry out that plan. It was much later that this would not longer be allowed by God, for reasons that we should not do it today. What ever his plan is, it is what it is, for me. Im fine with that.

I have had many experiences that have proven to me beyond the shadow of a doubt that God exists. I could go on for many many pages about it, and many would believe or think I am lying, or place my testimony as coincidences and delusional. I wont go into all that here, except for one.....

I was deep into my Bible around 15yrs ago or so and it was to find the truth(seek me and you shall find me) about some arguments between a girlfriend that I loved dearly as later in the relationship she had brought it up that she was praying to Mary and then Arch Angel Michael. I needed to find out if the Bible says anything about that this is what we should do. Well seek me and you shall find me is what happened. I had an episode of thoughts while I was driving my car to pick up a sub sandwich. When the thoughts stopped, I made a right at the green light and looked around and I wasnt where I was suppose to be. I was several blocks in the opposite direction from where I was suppose to be. Didnt recognize at first where I was. Then I did and pulled into a Walmart parking lot and got out of the car and was frightened and scared for a bit. I calmed down for a bit and said Im going straight home. Then the thoughts began again and at the next stop light I wasnt sure where I was again. Got home and thought about it some, because the thoughts were of how I should stop swearing, be nicer to my aggravating room mate, this that and the other.

I went online and asked some questions on bible forums and such. I was told that there are books on what happened to me and it is only one form of what happens as in it could happen differently for others, but a similar fear afterwords as to what was happening. Its called the invocation of the Holy Spirit.

For some months after that i was very different that I had been all my life. My mom asked me, why is it when you laugh it does not sound like you. You are giggling like a child.  ;)   My room mate and I became best friends like brothers, etc etc.  Like I said I could do pages on just this subject alone. This is only a super cut down version.

Im not here to convince anyone of anything. You all can think and believe what you want, and, or, seek the truth and go for the ride that will change your life for the better, in many ways.

Now back to the Adam and Eve were here first, there are good possible arguments there, like this one Im copy pasting below....

"Now back to the original question: Who was Cain’s wife? In Genesis 4:14, after Cain murders Abel, he says to God “whoever finds me will kill me.” Obviously, by that time, there were already many other people living on the earth. After he murdered Abel, Cain left and went to live in the land of Nod, east of Eden (Genesis 4:16). It appears that it was there that he married a wife – who may have been either a sister or another relative."

And if there were others before Adam and Eve, then Im fine with that also. Adam and Eve were the true bloodline of Gods chosen people. As later on in the new testament it was then that anyone that wants to be saved, can be.

"1 Corinthians 15:45 tells us that Adam was “the first man.” Genesis 3:20 states that Eve “was the mother of all the living”

This can be interpreted as the living are the initial chosen ones to bring on the chosen bloodline onto the earth.

Either way, it makes no difference in my beliefs. Just as can be found in the more recently dug up, the books that cover the life of Jesus and claim he had married Mary Magdolin and had children. There are hints of this in the new testament. That still does not change anything that the message the Bible is trying to convey.  Those books are not necessary and do not change that message in any way or form.

Brads post religious arguments against Luc are just arguments against Christianity,  and Luc I believe follows Hindu. So Brads arguments are fairly mute in Lucs case in my opinion.

Brads arguments show he has not truly studied or deeply explored the Bible the way he(and we) should have. Its simple to just hear some others opinions they find on the internet and pass up the actual truths.  Of 10 links on the search for Cains Wife, only one described it to the extent that I have here. So dont just wiki it. Seek the actual truth. its all in the Bible. No better source for the truth than that. Dont always just take the simple route of others given interpretations.  ;)

Im done. I have only went with his first argument above as to be as short here as possible. I can poke many holes into the others also. But I dont need to. If anyone is interested, the they should seek and find for themselves.  its worth it  ;) ;D

Hi Mags,

I agree with you.  Only someone that has actually experienced the works of God in their lives can truly understand his amazing love and care for us.  Even in the dark times he can give comfort and strength that only true believers can understand.  Don't let the unbelievers discourage you.  There are many many of us that know the truth.  And the truth will set you free.

Take care,

Seems funny you did not say we were not suppose to be discussing religious history in this thread when brad does it, as he made a whole list of religious arguments. Most likely because you agree with his views, and that kind of religious talk is acceptable to you. And if you were so adamant about not discussing these thing then all you should have posted was you last statement and left it at that.

So you say you hate me for posting what I did, But Im not suppose to take offense to it. I dont. ;) Its your issue of hate and where you wish to direct it, not mine. ;)

"but you talking pagan trash! King James ? it's full of translation errors and every thing is reversed "

Everything is reverse eh?  EVERYTHING you say? I would not accept anything you have to say on the subject if that is your stance, as you are dead wrong. ;)

I of course am referring to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  The Great I AM.  The Alpha and Omega.  The only true God.  The Living Word.  The One who was and is and is to come.  The same God that predicted 2000 years ago that Israel would again become a nation.  The same God that predicted that in the Last Days many would deny His existence.
