The Athena Generator is the first generator able to successfully generate over 100% efficiency. This is being released because our company feels it is too important of a discovery to take any chances but release all of the information to the world for independent verification and scrutiny, we are not authorizing commercial use and are patent pending.

Patent pending? So you have actually filed a patent application for this system? What's the number of the patent application(s) and in which country or countries have you filed applications?

This was the quote from the company Atlas . I am not the inventor of this device .
i came across this while searching the youtube.

Hi justawatt,

thanks for starting this topic.
If I understand the Athena Generator idea correctly I think the advantage or gain with generator is in the windings (turns) kept down to one or less turns.
In the recent past I've investigated the same idea but did not find any advantage in doing this, the counter EMF is still present. However, I didn't try a step up transformer and FWBR as I wouldn't of thought that would help.
So just to be sure I put together a small test device to confirm if that can help.

I they put a tremendous amount of work and supplies in the build and hope it works.
I've done test with these permanent magnet (neo) alternators in the past as well and found them to be power hogs, needing 150 watts just to get them turning.
I also found that the stator core laminations would get hot which means eddy current and hysteresis losses, probably caused by bad quality core laminations.
I'm wondering if the preliminary tests results and conclusions could of been tapping into these losses and why they concluded there was a gain or advantage?

Anyways, I hope I'm wrong.
Here's my results and video demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPJJg7ILd6k&feature=youtu.be

Regards

Luc

ADDED: looks like they've just removed all their video a few hours ago. That didn't last long!

Excellent test gotoluc. Your test results showing that the electric motor draws more power
when adding even just a very small load, is what I would have expected.
I think you may have duplicated his basic setup closely enough, but I suppose it is possible that
he is doing something a little differently that could make a difference. He took his videos down,
so he may have decided it is better to wait till he has added a decent amount of load so he can
do some proper testing first. If his setup is the same as you have demonstrated, then it looks
like he is going to be disappointed once he tests with a larger load.
