As you can see from the video, a small steel cylinder having one type of flux when kept on a track above a set of magnets glued under repulsion, moves in one direction and does not come back showing some sort of 'magnetic force diode'.

I tried to complete the loop on a SMOT track but it did not work because this 'diode effect'  we observe only at close distance w.r.t. bottom set of magnets. At farther distance it behaves like a reverse diode and does not allow the top magnet to come back to complete the loop.

I think if we make use of only that small length where diode effect is observed, we may get OU effect. (we have to build a tiny wheel having tiny magnets covering only that diode effect area)

As you can see from the picture below,  the direction of flux of a disc magnet on top is opposite to that  on the face.  Hence the steel cylinder provided with magnets when kept on a track above the force diode, moves in one direction when kept close  to the bottom diode and in opposite direction when kept far away from the diode.

This is a well known phenomenon.
What you experience is forces between magnets.
In the configuration you have, there is a narrow "window" where the rolling magnet is attracted to the magnets below, but elsewhere there is repulsion.
There are a couple of other ways to achieve the same phenomenon.


In reality you don't have a magnetic diode. You will soon enough find out that you need to complete a cycle. Then you will learn that it takes the exact same energy to enter the narrow window as you gain from it.


Put the ramp perfectly horizontal and see how far the rolling magnet rolls each way.

There is no unidirectional force in the other video either.
As you see when the rolling magnet also repels to the right, not only to the left.


There is no observable unidirection. That would only be because the rolling magnet is placed on a properiate place before releasing.
