Title: FE Device by 'Armored Train'
Post by: TheCell on March 20, 2017, 08:31:33 AM
Hello

because the schematic is so damn easy , but seen others at YT ,who failed to replicate this, I suspect the ferite core to be self made the chosen materials to be crucial for function.
After winding the 2 coils , did he glue the both halfes together, or is there an airgap in between. Both the leds and the charging cap are fed by the same pulse , but it is not clear whether it is the active pulse or the flyback pulse.
The parameters frequency / duty cycle are surely of further interest, but :

Can someone contact this person to answer above questions please ?

I made this about two years ago. I used a ferrite core from an old TV flyback transformer. These normally do have a tiny plastic spacer (like 0.2 mm or so) to make an airgap but I can't remember if I used the spacer or not. I used a rubber band to pull the two halves of the core together, no glue. And I can't find the silly thing at the moment, it's buried in my lab mess somewhere. I made the PCB by hand using the template that appears on the website you linked.  By the way, you can put the web address into Google Translate and get an English (or whatever) translation of the page. Then you can read the Comments... they are very interesting.

What I can tell you is this: There are differences in the MC34063 chip from different manufacturers. First I used one that I removed from a car cigarette-lighter cellphone charger, then I got a batch of 10 from an Ebay seller in China. I can't remember which ones worked better but I do recall that they were different.

The thing is a fairly good receiver of wireless power. But of course you still need a source of the wireless power for it to receive.

-> but do not reveal enough

Maybe T-1000 should contact this person, if he is willing to tell the details.
Anyone can start the guessing game: resonace frequency, nr of turn ratio, ferite material  ect.

Because I don't think setups like these are impossible: EP1033807A1

TK,
It could be made without have any wireless transmission power or any output source , in fact is just a more efficient way of discharge a cap .

I see comment below.  you fixed it
Thanks

seems Tr1 is a key instead of amplify current on the behalf of voltage it amplify current without changing voltage ask Kapanadze ;-)

very strange indeed ?

I already correct the link ;)

high Nelson I have seen this same circuit else where, it works by a charged cap just on the tip of turning on, when that spark you have 'does it's thing it flips it over the edge and bingo it turns on, but would you like to explain the added conductor going through the middles function ?

Dear Nelson.

As an admirer of your great work within the OU community, may I ask if you would share the circuit diagram for your " Amazing oscillator " ?

Kind regards, Graham.

Isn't OPEN SOURCE wonderful ?

Isn't OPEN SOURCE wonderful ?
Yes it is !  But i just answered you with a example , i did not open a new topic to promote any new circuit or did? Have you ever seen me sell any idea or create a new topic promote something unusual  ?
For sure not.
When i have that intention i will open my own topic TK  until there i think i could give my opinions like you do or other member or not ?

Some days ago you are trying make business with another member in this forum.  Should be this forum a platform to make business ?  I think not, myself never did that in fact already reject some money offers from some members to have some details of some of my work  .
Why your sarcasm?
And in fact you already explain how easy it is make that particular circuit  i'm right ? :)
better we eat a cheese burger and both we will get more happy ;) agree ?

Cheers

Hi AlienGrey,
The small coil in middle just capture the the kick back of the other two coils nothing more :)  about the spark is only used to make the transistor start oscillate .

cheers

My dear TinselKoala.

Your sarcasm is unfounded.

With hindsight, my response might seem to infer that Nelson had privately shared some knowledge, however my open response was to thank him for his honest and forthright message he sent to me yesterday.

I can assure you and all that there won't be any OU devices coming from North Wales in the near future based upon the work of Nelson Rochaa.

Kind regards, Graham.
