Title: Time dilation experiment.
Post by: spacecowboy on February 26, 2017, 08:54:51 PM
A strange little experiment of a DIY solar powered wall clock that shows several strange things when the battery is removed.  Which is accomplished by tilting the solar panel, and that somehow effects the light reaching the solar panel, and causes the time to go forward, backward or very fast. This was not an intentional design, It just happens, no idea how or why really. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erZQwNUcwvI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erZQwNUcwvI)

This type of clock does unpredictable things, once the battery runs out of power. Use the voltage stabilizer for powering your clock and I'm sure the time travel effect will disappear.

If the voltage output of the solar panel is higher than your battery (which it must be to charge it) then that may account for it running fast.  The reverse effect may happen when the voltage is too low (less light on the solar) to properly power the circuit.   Still an oddity to ponder  ;)
