I been messing with Joule thief circuits again and been trying to get a good output, messed with some interconnected torroids and actually manged to get a "singer" which i never achieved before but what interested me most was that when i made a thief using part of the Fibonacci sequence for wire lengths i got better output and brighter lights than ever before..... not sure why but something seems to work.
I was messing trying to increase this and put a hdd magnet next to the coil and at a critical point the output Voltage on the larger output coil increases dramatically jumping from about 19.6 volts to over 50 volts, dont know if anyone else has seen this effect or not as it has puzzled me.  I just made a quick Phone video of it so excuse the vertical footage and bad filming as my phone is related to a chinese potato!
I just play, dont have scopes or other equipment just dabble for fun. would be nice to hear some thoughts on this off you more experienced folk!
