I can't see any power being generated without movement of the magnets.   Thank about iron filings placed around a magnet.  They don't move so with a static field why would this create any current?

Yes it would seem this would be a very small current.   IIRC I think laserhacker noticed something like this in one of his builds he was tinkering with.
