I did a test with the simple reactor at 220 volts, but graphite is shattered.
I then powered with a battery charger 12 volts and graphite heat a lot, but unfortunately he also burned the plexiglass that smelled.
So be careful with this experiment and you do not use plastic but glass ..

It feeds the graphite bar with 12 volts - 10 A; incandescent, is pressurized with CO2 until the bar turns translucent. They are driving the laser and the coil for weeks to obtain the projection stone.
