As you know, the LEDs can also be used in reverse, ie if illuminated produce current.
I tried to approach this IR illuminator for cameras from 3 €
a lamp and I got 6 volts

Static device to lift the water above the level of a source using static organs

Static device to lift water

We present a patent of 1943 dusted off from mediologist Michelangelo Everzari who argues that due to the power of Lerna dll'Idra this project, along with others, are not taught in school to lock our state evolutionary technology. A very special and complex topic that we shall investigate but you'll also have the opportunity to comment on this page and say what you think.

PATENT FOR INDUSTRIAL INVENTION 403,676

*
Giovanbattista Curtis in Cervaro (Frosinone)

SDDP: December 7, 1942; DCS: May 4, 1943

*The present invention has for object a static device to lift the water above the level of a source, using static organs.

It should be frequently the case in which you want to have available a limited amount of water, for example for donestici uses, instead of placing a source at a lower level a few meters above the point of use, and you can not or do not intend , for technical or economic reasons, to provide for a normal system of lifting water by means of a pump.

The present invention solves the above mentioned problem, since it allows, with purely static means, and therefore practically non-perishable, the lifting of a part of the water from the underlying source that descends to a lower level.

The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein the only form schematically shows a plant according to the present invention. A source of water (well, or other), indicated with 1 download the water at a lower level, indicated with 16, by means of a siphon 2, 6. The siphon is provided with a loading cup or priming 4 and a tap 5. a second tap 17 is inserted into the descending section 6 of the siphon and between the taps 3:17 is derived a tank or separator 9, by means of the tubes 7:10 respectively provided with taps 8 and 11. the reservoir 9, which is air tight and water is provided superiorly with a vent 14 provided with a tap 15 and downwardly to a drain 12 equipped with a valve 13. the operation of the device is as follows:

Closed the valves 8, 11, 13 and 15, except that the separator tank 9 the siphon 2, y is primed in a way known per se. Established the current of water in the siphon 2, 6, moderately opening the taps 8 and 11, it is obtained that a part of the water pacing the siphon, dividing the bifurcation 3, descend in the tank 9 through the pipe 7 and the valve 8 and a part of the air contained in the reservoir 9 is dragged in the descending section 6 of the siphon through pipe 10 and the tap 11. After a certain time, the tank 9 is devoid of air and filled with water. At this point, you can intercept the communication of the tank with the siphon by means of the taps 8:11 and withdraw the water contained in the reservoir 9 through the drain 12, opening the taps 13:15.

The height h, to which one can obtain the operation of the device, of course, depends on the condition of not exceeding the barometric column of water; in practice, it is held h infer to 9 meters. The height h, ie between the source 1 and the drain 16, can be great when you want. The siphon is obviously fitted with a check valve located in 18 and a tap 17 necessary to trigger.

But no one has ever thought to do the electrolysis of water with radioactive electrodes, eg thorium?
