The Beauty of Timing Diagrams
« on: January 06, 2016, 05:16:28 PM »
If you are going to build a pulse motor or some kind of circuit and you want to understand how it works, making a timing diagram for your device will really help you understand your device, and allow you to share that information with your peers.

I am posting a few different types of timing diagrams.  With a two-channel scope nothing is stopping you from making a 10-channel timing diagram.  There can be more than just electrical signals on your timing diagram.  You can put torque or energy traces, power traces, magnetic repulsion and attraction traces, velocity and acceleration traces, the sky is the limit.  You just have to use your wits and imagination to put the relevant information on your timing diagram to facilitate the understanding of your device.
