Are you trying to say that US military is working on free energy and spying this forum ?  ???

No.  I am sure they are working on efficient energy production but have never heard of us over here.  I believe that we are below the radar as it were.

Madeo:I didn't make the arguments, it was someone else.  No matter, you still showed that you don't have a leg to stand on.  Advancing your case is not pointless.  It's to show that you have some reasons for saying what you are saying and that you are not just parroting the same old cliches.Yes the sun is free, there is nothing to debunk.   Even you suggesting that I am supposed to 'debunk' the sun is ridiculous.  But the sun does have a limited shelf life.  Ho Ho HoMileHighP.S.:  A lot of my postings are made to stop criminals in their tracks.  GDS Technologies is a recent case of trying to stop a crime from being committed by an evil man that wants to steal money from people like you.

Trying to protect people like me from criminals ??   How sweet of you ....  BUt, here's the thing,  nobody asks you to do it. I don't want it and certainly a good number of people here don't want it either.  Do us a favor and keep it to yourself... please?  If I fall victim to these criminals you speak of, then it's my own fault and I will deal with the consequences.

If you don't care much about Overunity,  free energy, or whatever you prefer to call it ,   then I think you should look up to the top of the page and read the website again?  It clearly says  "OVERUNITY: searching for free energy and discussing free energy."  4000 posts and none of it are anywhere close to "SEARCHING" or "DISCUSSING" the topic (more like attacking it). If you are lost, then I can provide you a direction and a link to a website called  "UNDERUNITY."  You can invite and take your comrades there with you.  ;D

Would you mind stop quoting MH, you undermine the ignore function  8) ... hrm, nothing personal. Besides, he was told without success this very same suggestion already in the past.

Recently I read on a TK vid comments section about what is wrong with Hopegirl. Appearently the discussion was focused on her body mass and her titties. That of course justifies any witchhunt.

Pirate I agree to some degree. Interestingly the US Military (Navy?) researched on cold fusion since Pons and Fleischmann and meanwhile verified heat excess (who cares about the absence of gamma radiation ), regardless of the DOE 1990 Verdict of "pathetic science".

As for the pink unicorn of TK, this is plain dialectics.

The likes of MH, TK, ME always try to derail the threads here with their off-topic discussions of the subject matter at hand and - even worse - with cogent arguments and analytical profuseness for the reader's convenience.

This is not right.

They should instead follow the example of dieter and Madeo and post on-topic personal attacks, incoherent, self-debunking rants and conspiracy theories.

I agree Sir, this should stop.  Otherwise, folks might learn something useful and then where would we be?

Very well said.  I could not agree more.

I wouldnt say the US any more,i would say the UN.
Make no mistake, these guy's have tech that would blow your mind, and hide it quite well. If we no longer had to pay for energy, then we would all become equal's,and this is something the UN dose NOT want. The rich and powerful would also become equal's,and how to fund there lavish life styles?. There are those that like to be on top,and keep the rest of us right where they have us.

Maybe we should look a little closer to nature,as it seems to be able to do things we only dream of-->like the creation of mass, and self made fuel from nothing more than sun light and water, and it's all right there in front of us. Fancy that, mass created from sun light and water that then becomes a fuel.

So man once said that heavier than air machines couldnt fly,and yet the birds where flying just above, all day long. Im sure birds are heavier than air ;). It was only mans over sight and lack of knowledge at the time, that such a statement was made. And so it is true with the here and now. We have not reached our peak,in fact we are still very new to what science is yet to show. One thing is true, and that is that the laws of physics are made from only what we know today, and they will change as man becomes a little smarter in the art of science and physics-->and this will only come with experimentation.

Is there paid government trolls here-no,and the reason or sad truth for that is there hasnt been a credible OU device shown on this forum,or any other forum that i know of. But what there has been, is many guys here spending hard earned cash and lots of there own time trying to find the answer we seek--and this you can be proud of. So i say keep on building, keep on trying, and never give up.The worst outcome can only be that you learn every day. ;)

its not the on topic posts in their field  that Mark E and MH   make, its when they go to google search and try to validate a position based on google and not their own testing and bench time or even personal experience..

because they will gladly step into ANY topic based on their confidence in Google or whoever.

this is very uncomfortable to see and read ...we can all do that..

and quite condescending ,sort of like the attitude "oh we need to save the idiots from themselves or when Scammers show up"or they'll throw all their money away ....

"WHAT" ???

they are sooo far into their own superiority that they can't see the forest for the tree's

MH perceives  an offer to investigate a claim as some sort of endorsement of a fraud ??
he really feels this way !!
its like me saying He's a murderer because he watches murder mysteries...

"you do you.."
when it comes to things you have no personal experience with ,do us a favor

There is nothing wrong with using a search engine.
Google is a great tool for fact checking and research. Of course you will have to evaluate the sources and check for plausibility, as with any tool you use. What would be an alternative? Asking random people on the street? OUja boards?

If you are going to take on Newton, you need the intelligence of Einstein.
So far Lenz  and Faraday stand triumphant. Why not treat these resident geniuses as devils advocates?

Madeo:

As you are already learning, this is a place that respects differing opinions and multiple points of view.  I will state whatever I want to say whether you approve of it or not.  Likewise, you are free to do the same.  All of this should be done in the context of respect for others.

Dieter:

There is nothing to be proud about by displaying a desire for willful ignorance and narrow-mindedness.  Put me on ignore, that's up to you.  But know for certain that I state things of real worth, and if you want to be willfully ignorant that's your choice.  Many people will back me up and many times people have thanked me for my comments.

Both of you:

Your swagger is fake and as you can see it bit you right back in the ass.  Show some humility and respect for others and respect for different opinions from your own.

Chet:

Do you deserve to be scolded when you chase after pipe dreams and seemingly have lost your basic common sense?  The answer is sometimes you do.  You spin a story about Google searching.  You are fully aware that there a many people that have a wealth of experience and education around here.  I don't even compare to some of them but I can hold my own.  So your story about "relying on Google" and all that stuff is a combination of pure speculation and sour grapes on your part.

You want to support a low-life in Ontario that is just looking for 50% down payments in the form of bank transfers?  The narrative with that guy follows the script for a con artist to the letter.  Where are your critical thinking skills?  At the same time, am I actually literally physically stopping you if you want to spend your own money, drive to Ontario, do whatever you want to do to meet up with that low-life?  The answer is NO, my text postings on a chat board will not stop you from doing what you want to do.

Note that I am batting 1000 and you are batting ZERO.  I would love if you helped uncover something that would transform the world and were instrumental in making it all happen.  Nonetheless, if another "Magnagcoaster" type of story happens and you go all go-go-ga-ga over it and it looks like nonsensical junk then myself and others will let you know what we think.  You are back to the same old "problem" of respecting multiple opinions and points of view.

We have found a very effective way to investigate claims cut short wasted time and minimize scamming , to offer a venue to the experimenter/claimant

Chet:

The problem is that you are the one in make-believe land.  If you have technical resources to offer to an inventor, then I would think that you would want to qualify the inventor's proposition and the inventor himself or herself.

Have you seen the last two or thee Yildiz motor demos?  They were complete farces.  That may happen to you.  You will drive eight hours, get some people and equipment together, and the inventor will have accidentally dropped his nail file into the guts of his device and the demo will be canceled.  The inventor would just be 'playing the system' for the exposure.

Let me get this straight:  You object to others offering supporting references for their statements and opinions?  What do you think is improper about supplanting one's own personal experience with what others have learned and published?

There are any number of people in this world who will not be discouraged from supporting scams and their perpetrators no matter how strong the evidence.  James Randi calls such people "The Believers".  there are however also many people who are interested in finding out what is true and what is false.

I think that it is fair to say that you continue to hold out hope for GDS long beyond the point that any reasonable person has long since correctly concluded that Greg Potter is completely full of malarky.  You represent that is not an endorsement of GDS.  I accept that you are not explicitly endorsing GDS.  IMO you are however promoting their claims by refusing to acknowledge the overwhelming compelling evidence against them, with nothing but their constantly changing word for support.  To me it is a willful ignorance.

I am perfectly OK with the fact that you want to hold out hope for the hopeless cause that is GDS.  That's your personal choice and right.  I do object that you hold your choice as a basis to criticize those who have developed informed opinions based on facts.

Chet, can you show how your claimed very effective and time efficient methods have for example worked in the case of GDS?
