Title: counterrotatingmagnetic fields gyroscope
Post by: franco malgarini on December 11, 2014, 10:51:50 AM

This gyroscope has the disadvantage that the mechanical part is not very strong, but I think that improving the mechanics could see the effects

Cool, do you have a vid of it running?

 ;D ;D ;D
Congratulations, you have discovered forced precession of gyroscopes! And you have some idea now of the forces involved.

@franco: What effects are you expecting to see? Did you manage to strengthen up your jig.

Counter rotating magnetic fields sound like a very good idea.

We expecting to see antigravitational effects.....

- Do you have a theory that supports your experiments? How big are the effects going to be according to your theory?

- In which direction do you expect gravitational effect to take place?

- How are you going to measure the effect?

according to the theory of rotating magnetic fields (see Searl effect) the gyroscope should pop up at great speed from the ground ...

To avoid mechanical problems, it would be more interesting to create electromagnetic fields rotating but FIXED (at least two degrees of freedom) and the third sphere rotating mechanically, but I would not know how to do ...

Maybe with electromagnets it's not the same. Otherwise, any 3-phase Tesla motor would just fly away :)

Somebody said, when you rotate a magnet CW then it will affect gravity, but if you rotate it CCW, then it won't. Did anybody ever try that? (of course, high RPM is required).

Franco, if the discs are save for centrifugal forces and VERY WELL BALANCED, then you can go to very high RPM, even with simple mechanics and small motors.

It may however be something to consider to build your own highspeed motors, using freefloating magnet bearings or needle bearings to achieve high RPM.
