What if? Overunity
« on: December 14, 2013, 02:48:21 AM »
I guess I'll start off first by introducing myself. My name is Derek, I've probably been interested by 'overunity' since I was a young boy, I was always told in school or by the scientific community that such a thing was simply impossible.  I'd largely agree from what I've seen and known about energy, and the physical laws that are in place in this world we live in.

Anyways my main point of this post is basically, "What choices or paths could one take by discovering a overunity system?". From what I have read and heard it is basically impossible to try and get a patent for a free energy device, simply because a patent office doesn't want to waste their time dealing with what everyone refers to as crackpots. But if you truly had such a technology would there be a way to patent it? Would there even be a point of patenting it? Sure you could make money from it, but from my understanding if 'free energy' was introduced with open availability the economy probably wouldn't be able to handle such a change, and just collapse(I don't know if this would actually happen).
But the point is would a patent be useless because when it expires your money would be useless anyways.

And back to the economy part I go... Would your life be in danger? The energy industry is huge, you can not deny that. And I'm sure some of those big billionaires could easily have you killed forever silencing you and stopping your technology from getting out to the public. But then again you don't want to be one of those people that sit around while someone else makes it off of something that you already designed and built.

All thoughts and ideas on the topic are greatly appreciated.

Thank you
all

@blitzkreig

             There are numerous discussion topics related to yours on the forum.  Many of which have
had discussion of the questions you raise.

        My 2 cents worth of input.

I can only say a little of how U.S. patenting works.

A person patenting a free energy device doesn't need to say that it's a free energy device to patent it.  That person only has to demonstrate that their device is new, and useful, simply calling it efficient for example.

A patent can not  be issued for some thing that is not new, that is to say, if it is "known" or has has been published before patenting.

If an inventor of a free energy device widely published the device, I think the inventor could get rich, just by asking for donations at that point ?

Since it is illegal to sell a patented device without permission, one could prevent a device from being patented by publishing it.  This would prevent some one else from unscrupulously monopolizing the device through patent.

Patent offices deal with crazy people frequently.

            Would free energy wreck the worlds economy ?

                        My 10 cents worth of input.

No, but rather, greed or rather the fears and insecurities that spawn greed.

Why are people looking for free energy devices?  More fear / greed ?  Or as a solution to the ecology crisis ?  Both ?

A lot of people believe we are in a ecological crisis.  This point of view in my humble opinion, is like believing that a person suffering from a 105 degree fever is essentially a temperature crisis.  Treat the symptom fist ? Sure, but don't,  then ignore the underlying cause.

Love overcomes fear, but then so does power and domination.  The difference is that in the one case fear vanishes, while in the other
fear grows.

                    peace

Blitzkrieg, you shouldn't believe in all nonsense you been told.

Example: Heat pump based heating is OU,  installed in many homes nowdays.

No point to patent FE device, nobody will buy it (because nobody believe that it is possible).
Economic will not collapse because of your actions... all collapses planned and controlled ;-)
Please share your ideas, it is interesting!

Any one who registers, can post.

I suggest that you keep to as much politeness as possible, but be aware that by no means does everyone on the forum do so.  Some people here are pretty well vicious.  I have no idea of how knowledge able you are, neither does anyone else.  Don't be offended if you are an expert in some area, and someone "talks down to you" they may simply be trying to explain so that any one (non experts) who read it, can understand as well.  Remember that what you say on the forum, is pretty much here for ever,  and any member can access your entire posts history. Try to be as clear in stating your ideas / designs as you can muster.  It is rude to present ideas and designs poorly, it wastes other people time and energy, when they have to drag the details and clarity out of you.  If you make false claims expect a good and well deserved thrashing. Be willing to accept your mistakes, ready to learn, even an expert has plenty to learn, and an expert in one field my be a real novice in another.  In science, a good critic is valuable to you, and a true friend, but don't accept personal insults, rather stand your ground.  Not all critics are good, they may not know w t f  they are talking about, but still talk it well. Don't believe every thing you read here, a lot of people are perhaps overly optimistic, or even self deceived, how ever, who knows,  they may well be proved out.  In my opinion, a considerable amount of healthy skepticism is a good thing when it comes to science, cynicism not so good.  Don't take it all tooo seriously either, enjoy your participation here.

                                               cheers

@Blitzkrieg,

Welcome to the forum  :)

I hope that you share the "overunity" ideas that you have ~ but please note that some people here can get pretty nasty, so be prepared to ignore some of them ( I hope that you aren't TOO MUCH into "lightening war"  8)  )

You will find many knowledgeable people here who are willing to help in developing theories and solutions with your design.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info guys, and I do have an 'idea' for a free energy device, keep in mind its just an idea I haven't built anything yet.. I have decided to post about it, but I need to put together something that is presentable first. :) And when ready what do you think would be the most suitable forum?

@Blitzkrieg:

Well you will probably be the only one that can choose on "where"  :)

You will find MANY different section which all depends on what "type" of device or design that you want to share (such as magnetic, solid-state, gravity-powered, etc, etc). Look here for the many different options: http://www.overunity.com/community/
