Bathroom scale battery hack

Just a simple video to show how I switched from a button cell to AA batteries for my digital bathroom scale.  I had everything I needed already so this switch was free for me.  The AA's in series will last a whole lot longer than that button cell.

Very simple but hopefully useful.

@Pirate88179:

I have these very good kitchen scales, but they need two very expensive 3V button cells which run low very soon.

Your hack might be applicable, I will try (but I will need 4 batteries).

Simple things are the best, because they work.

Greetings, Conrad

Conrad:

Yes, 4 AA's should do it and last a lot longer too.  Great way to save some money as well.  Let me know how you make out.

Thanks,

Bill
