In fact it is so strange I want to try and duplicate that trace. The top peaks should not be higher that the previous lower peaks in a resonant ring 'down'

Unless,like i stated in the other thread,the bottom peak is being clamped by a diode(1n5408).

Ok. But why is that? What is the actual inductive kick peak voltage..  The only reason I keep asking is because it seems you are saying that the 13.6v is the peak you should expect from the coil. Why the diode?

I am using a diode because the pulse is being supplied by my FG.
That is why it is clamped at the bottom,and not the top of the wave.

No,if you read the post,it was simply showing that a BPC dose indeed have a BEMF,and had nothing at all to do with expected voltages.
