Can your scope upload the screenshot over the Ethernet connection to a network share on a remote computer?
not sure but you can print it off to a printer or a mem stick,  but i dont have a long enough cable to run it to a hub or my computer.

  VerpiesTK.
   Thanks for your comments.

Concerning the huge pause...  Here below is Apecore's circuit scope shot,  we are building similar TL 494 and driver circuits from the topruslan 7 schematic.
As you can see his signal is similar to mine. At least his scope shot is easier to observe.

Yes it is, but this means that there are no full AC cycles...just half cycles.
Are you sure Ruslan has it like this?

It is working normally.  It's just the way that the scope shows it when using a very small duty cycle.
I'll show how it looks like with close to full duty cycle working,  like you would expect it to look.
There are full waves, and not just half waves.

It depends on your definition of "normally".
For me push-pull-pause is more normal than push-pause-pull.

Small duty cycles just make the pause more visible on the scope.

NickZ, may be could be useful if you use from far a micro controller (Any kind of Arduino board) to generate push-pull logic signal. You can link to Push-Pull power stage by using fiber-optic in order to avoid interference, like Loneoceans uses in his tesla coil interrupter

There are no huge pauses and no half waves. As I mentioned. If you don't see it that way I'll show you what I mean by that, later. When I get it all together and working.
I already explained previously what the cause is of the apparent pause, but there are no actual pauses nor half waves. The duty cycle and frequency controls cause the scope to show it in the middle, until both controllers are opened up to close to100% duty cycle and frequency. That is why it's  normal, in this case.
There is a video on you tube called "How to use a TL494" part 1. Minute 1:12 on.. Shows how the peaks are in the middle when the duty cycle controller is turned down low, as compared to when it's all the way up. Same thing as I'm seeing. Check it out.

  Saturnio:
Thanks, but I'm already working on a Ruslan replication.
And I'm not really too interested in what you just mentioned.
Sorry, but, perhaps you should build it yourself and show how well it works, for these Akula/Ruslan types of replications.

Nick don't think i'm getting at you because i include my self here.
How many people would you estimate have made similar devices like this ?
how many versions of this circuit board are there ?
How many versions do you have in your collection ?
How many devices do you think are working out there ?
Tell me do you consider this version will in clued the missing Darwinian link ?
I think so many things are staring us in the face here asking us to notice them even rubbing it in our face.
However the expert tells us some thing else and we go for it and ignore our own commonsense.

Well good luck with what ever number this one is !

    Alien Grey.
So, how many Akula/Ruslan versions have you built?

Other than my Mazilli based version, the TopRuslan 7 board is my only other driver circuit.
As it's also the simplest one.

  Pinoy_tech:
Where is the actual original schematic to the above shown layout?  That copy is the one that I had shared, previously on the forum.
So have you actually built this push pull TL 494 based driver up yourself, and actually have it working.?
Can it be bought ready made? How much?  Just joking, of course.  The board looks like it has all the right components according to the posted schematic.
B
The best thing is for one of us to build it, first and try it out. Which is what I'm up to now.
As just because it looks right,  or it works as it should, doesn't mean that it will provide for a self running device.

Both Apecore and myself are giving this version a try. He is further along than I am.

Hoppy, I have completed the driver part of the circuit and would like to test it out, to that point, before adding the snubbers. Any suggestions???

hi Pinoy,

Nice Pcb but why do you choose to use Green "Mylar capacitor" as a decoupling capacitor and also for the snubber instead of sticking with "ceramic capacitor".
