  Itsu:
Ok, thanks. I'll see what I can do.
But, that is what we need to resolve in order to be able to aline and tune both frequencies together.
It looks like it may not be possible without exact the harmonic frequencies, to keep the scope images steady.

Well Nick,

already your kacher running at 892.8Khz runs on the 32th harmonics of your grenade signal at 27.9Khz, so it probably needs a small adjustment to sync both.

That movie gets better,  just hold on to your seat.
It's going to be hard to decipher fact from fiction.

Can't wait for the next episode!  ;)

Actually this is one area where the old Tek analog scope is superior to the low-end DSO. The Tek has the capability to trigger on _both_ channels alternately, displaying stable waveforms for non-harmonically related signals. Set Vertical Mode to "BOTH" and "ALT" and the Trigger Source to INTERNAL -- VERT MODE.

On the DSO you can get "snapshots" of stable traces for both signals, although not live, by using the SINGLE SHOT sweep/trigger mode.

TK,

yes it will present a stable signal to both channels, but are they really "in sync" like Nick wants?
I think that that setting will ALTernate between both channels, but does not sync them, so you cannot make frequency adjustments as
the trigger will ALTernate between them, if you know what i mean.

What TK is telling you is simply this, you said your self your katcher is 'free' running, so how can you 'lock it' to anything ?
Does every one walk at the same speed ? what are you going to do throw an anchor at it  :D or make some control logic so you can control and  lock it ?

Sounds like Itsu is right, and so is TK, so I'll fire up the old Tek scope and give it a couple of good swift kicks, and see if it comes back to life, again. Sort of miss using it...

As my simple kachers range is between 830KHz to 1.1MHz. What frequency in theory should I look for on the grenade's output signal to match the kacher's frequency. Instead of normally doing it the other way around.
Using ferrite in the kacher pipe can induce a lot of addition heating from and on the inside out.
For me the non ferrite kacher frequency is 1.1MHz.

AG: I did not say any thing about free running. I've cut the kacher's secondary coil many times looking for the best resonant match up. And can further control the frequency using ferrite in the PVC pipe. Not looking to lock onto any frequency, as different loads need different frequencies.
I am however looking to make a controllable kacher circuit, as well. To keep up with the Jones.

Itsu: that's what I thought also, but, I may not be matching up to the best most optimum resonant points.
I'll get that wild goose yet.

Next episode: Pyramid space crafts in the UK?  Oh, you must of miss it...

Here's what Greer has to say about the secrecy of ET technologies.
Just one guy's opinion, but worth watching. As it relates to what we are trying to achieve.

Nick,

I've just been pulling your leg on all this. I've studied this subject for many years, especially the UK scene and Dr Greer's disclosure project. I remain open minded.

Nick,

in the past (this thread), figures like 50, 60 and 100th harmonics were named as optimum.

I always get the third harmonic as the max amplification. How can the 100th harmonic be a best one?

There is a difference between optimum and maximum, but this question could only be answered by the designers of this contraption.

What are you all on about FHS  ;D ;D cut out the SG1 stuff and get your Katcher coil on the bench and find it's resonant frequencys or forget it. Do you know how to do that ? It's in one of Akulas vid's Don Smith also shows it and TK shows a CD74C4046 card that can show it but you need a Freq meter,
Come on get real.
( Nick is that the natural res frequency ?  892.8Khz it's a bit low if you wind the SG up and down are there any more ?

We then need to know the timing sequence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Itsu:  So, what do the matching numbers look like for 1.1MHz?  Not sure how to figure it.

There is only one best frequency point on the induction circuit that allows for any interaction when matching up the Kacher to the induction circuit on my device. No other point results in the output being lit up brighter by the Kacher's interaction. Which mean no interaction is noticed. But, that single best point seems weak, compared to the results I obtained with the same grenade and Kacher set up but using the Mazilli driver, instead of the TL494/TC4420 driver.

It looks like several of us have their Kacher running best at around 1MHz. Is that just a coinsidence?
If I try to go to a higher Kacher frequency, by adjusting it's secondary coil, like to 1.85MHz, I loose some of the output from the Kacher, and the streamer is smaller. And there is much less output from the Kacher at 2.8MHz etz... almost nothing. Maybe a 1 mm spark, and practically no streamer to be seen.
Using the lower wattage bulbs (60w), results having to adjust the TL494 to a  higher running frequency (27KHz), but, the 200w bulb(s) run best at around 13KHz, or lower.  However, my TL board can't go any lower than that, like to 5-10KHz, or so.
Just letting you know what I observe on my set up, as a comparison.

Itsu not trying to be funny but It means nothing as it's not your harmonics of your katcher !!

AG: And you've found something that you can actually show us, (which is not just your untested opinion), which means something?

Neither Akula, Ruslan, Stalker, Adrian, nor anyone has ever shown how to properly tune the actual Kacher/grenade set up.
Nor will they show just how to do that, for a reason. So, it's up to those interested, to go through the ropes.

Simply tuning for the highest amplitude, is NOT the right way to go. Maybe turning for the highest current output, might be better. I tune for the brightest bulb output, and for the best "optimum" gain and interaction. Which is not at maximum amplitude.
