Here's the video that I just uploaded.
   https://youtu.be/JOi35dAI5bs
Ha Ha the video is unavailable !

Also your Mazzili circuit was used, in the 70s in oscilloscopes with a feed back op-amp and  supply transistor to vary the scopes EHT supply. In your version I would suggest you look at the rise fall time with a scope as it could be on most of the time   8) 8) 8) 8) 8) ;D

Ok, thanks for letting me know that it was unavailable,  I did select it to be public, but it came out private.
I've corrected that now, and the video should be available.
Let me know if it's not.

And no the Mazilli was not firing both fets at the same time, and it actually stayed cooler, than what I'm working on now.

No I didn't think both sides of your device were on at once,  I have a current limit on mine so it can shut off if wants to do that (mizilli) also see strange wave  form my spark generator produces  :D ;D

Oh with a high impedance coil it can do a long on then a short off then the other side does a long on and so on.

Hi all,

While doing MEG experiments in parallel I found something interesting on driver part. If you are using Ruslan katcher I think same thing may apply as well.
Basically when you have negative offset voltage in transistor base on moment of switching off the transistor seem to work much better.
Can soemone try break connection between katcher transistor emitter and minus and put ultrafast shotky diode in series there? This should improve your Tesla coil operation a lot.
This is example what happens with offset in the different area of research:
https://youtu.be/g19P7PBMiIA?t=2m22s
And basicaly it is what Tesla coil functionality is based at...

Please let me know you findings, it will be really interesting to see.

Cheers!

Yes the EHT is much more from switching ! used a  0.2v drop device SB560 you can see the spark in the pic the set up draws 2amp at 12 volts from reg V and limited Amps (Fets get hot on small heat sink), but might need more tripler stages for volts and impedance but needs to be pulse.

Caps are Pulse Z5U 0.001 6KV
Diodes are BY399 fast recovery 2x1600v 3Amp per stick  x 2
Rectifier is 1N5408 1000v 3a

Note scope display is erratic due to spark energy pulse but similar to original but not much use in this set up as is!
also see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYVv8tBjdNw   inductance (might be in Russian but we know exactly what this guy is talking about ! ignore and you get heavy losses  Impedance matching !

   T-1000:
Are you suggesting that a fast diode be placed between the transistor emitter and the input source negative rail?
What is this supposed to do?  As I can't understand the video that you posted.

Hello
I want to show you some things that I have helped
I've found several spots where you can hear the sound of frying chicken
with different duty cycle and delay between both gates of mosfet.
I'm using the snuber because I see that it's better.
there are many sounds, but only the frying chicken is the one that works
sometimes it is mixed with a tone, but you have to know that this sound is different from the others
I'm using a piece of aluminum tube in the center of the grenade
As shown in the photo, in a video I can see that GEO uses this.
past the time 11:30

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdYGq_jhmeg

this increases the sound of frying chicken, and apparently has better performance with the kacher, it also heats up a bit, and makes the resonance more acute

Same as quenching spark gap with Tesla coils... ;)

It forces fast disruption of flow in transistors when you have negative pulse after positive on transistor base. The typical approach you can find is resistor+capacitor in paralel but I wanted much more simple solution for the negative voltage offset. So UF shotky diode might do a thing as well.

Nick he is putting magnet up the katchers bottom end tube and it's giving a bigger wave form thus more energy in the spark Why not try it in your device see what happens  Just try it ! works much better for continuous spark (do you mean Sauce to 0 volts  diode + to 0 volts - to sauce or E if IGBT).

Soliman Pics modes so we can see ! ;) can you delete or miniaturize yours please as it screws the page up many thanks
for the useful information ;)
