Engineer Ugo Abundo of Italy and his school students have released their cold fusion experiment plans to the public on the blog of Daniele Passerini. The reported gain is 400% and the apparatus is very simple.

Finally we have something in cold fusion area which can be replicated easily. The secrecy of the experiments of other major researchers was a great barrier so far, or the the experiments were difficult. This is purely open sourced and the inventor is available for help.

The description is in Italian, which does not translate well with Google, but I hope better descriptions will be available soon. I will post updates as quickly as possible. It's great to see a wave like this.  I can feel the walls crumbling.  Between Rossi, Defalion, and several other big companies chessnyt has mentioned in the Rossi thread this is going to be an unstoppable wave.  Getting students involved like this will help keep the wave building.

Rossi only calculated electrical power input vs output but he didnt calculate how much of hydrogen he is
injecting and how much power is from hydrogen input.

does really no one get's into this stuff? Strange thing indeed! A certain "Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Claus W. Turtur" published the complete theory concerning the zero-point engergy converter - with experimental evidence - open-source-style on his website - and all it would take is some skilled mechanician to build a prototype. Why doesn't anyone get to this stuff and make it happen? Here is the link to the post concerning all information to this topic

Like I said in the other thread you posted this 141 hits on this forum.  See the Google search bar above?  Type in Turtur.  Lots of discussion but unfortunately Turtur's info is highly technical with enough complex math that it doesn't easily equate to building a useful energy source by your average back yard builder.  It sounds like even Turtur states he doesn't have the means to build something useful.  So while the theory is good it would probably take a lot of R&D to produce useful energy devices.
