Hey fellow experimenters!
I have been doing some work with aluminum and pultruded carbon rods, which seem to work just fine for electrical conduction for my battery 'projects'. Cool thing is they don't corrode. At least I'm pretty sure they don't, I'm still waiting for 'long term' results... ;)
I'm not sure if they conduct exactly as well as copper but I can't tell the difference with my cheap digital VOM set on the milivolt setting...
Play safe!
