Anyone here getting their post removed?
« on: December 18, 2011, 08:18:23 PM »
Either this server is not working correctly or alot of my post seem to just vanish. I go to view my post it shows them, then I go to the post and it says dont exist. Ive noticed this happened a few times to me on some topic i started and its getting a bit buggy,,Now maybe its something else or maybe its server issues, But I hope they get it fixed.

Stefan has indicated in response to other page errors of pages not loading correctly that it is his host provider,
he also indicated he will be trying a newer service starting tomorrow (Monday 12-19-11) to resolve this as well.

I hope this gives you a reason to wait moment or two and give the migration to
a new service provider a fair chance to take effect without transition issues.

Hope this helps.

In the past, when the system gets busy, I have noticed that my posts don't show up properly
instantaneously after the post was supposedly completed. I have wondered about deletion myself,
but rather then get "upset", I give the system an opportunity to synchronize itself, and generally
I believe my posts did make it in. I have always chalked it up to me not understanding all of the
complexities of data base operation in a large scale internet based communications system. You
have to ask yourself, "Who would have the logic, motive and opportunity to delete my post so
rapidly after it was first submitted?"

It is very easy to use the : "Show my posts" button in the upper right hand screen quadrant and to generate
a cut and paste document showing the your post there one minute and then gone several minutes, hours
and days later if you want to prove what I am saying here incorrect. Until this is done I suspect this is; "just
one of those things" that happens.

I am not deleting any postings, only if spammers post their
affiliate links or other spam.

Sometimes the servercache is not running correctly,
when the database is used up too much by other customers
of my hoster.

So I will move early next year to a different hoster, when I have
again time to work on this, as this is a complex change.

Until then you should always make your postings first in a notepad
editor and copy and paste your posting here into the posting form, so
if your posting is lost somehow that you still have the text saved inside
the notepad editor program.

Hope this helps.

Regards, Stefan.

Dear Stefan,
I have never had a post removed from this website.
Often I wish someone would remove my posts.
This is the only forum I have ever been in that does not remove posts.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks,
Brian 334
